Honolulu, Hawaii (Jan 3, 2012) – To service both the historic and modern neighborhoods of West Maui developer Stanford Carr designed the Kehalani Village Center to act as a hub for retail and services.

The shopping center will be centrally located in the Kehalani Village, adjacent to Maui Lani, old historic Wailuku town, Kaiser Maui Clinic and Maui Memorial Hospital.

Kehalani is a 550-acre master-planned community nestled at the base of the lush West Maui Mountains, immediately south of Wailuku. When the full vision of the Kehalani community is realized in 2004 it will be the largest planned development on the island of Maui.

Phase I will include 2 retail buildings of 12,000 and 14,000 square feet and a freestanding restaurant and bank. Phase I will be open in late 2012.

Phase II will include office, retail and residential live/work condominiums. Phase II is scheduled to open in 2014.

Anchor tenants Foodland, Longs Drugs, McDonalds and Aloha Petroleum have already joined the community of Kehalani businesses.
