(Honolulu, HI USA December 27, 2012) – Rengo Packaging Inc., the leading supplier of corrugated and packaging materials in Hawaii, announces the acquisition of 8.5 acres of land in the Malakole Industrial Park, Kapolei, Hawaii. Terms of the sale were not released.
In the land transaction, Rengo Packaging Inc. was represented by Sofos Realty Corporation, the largest locally owned commercial real estate and property management company. “Sofos did a great job for us. The Malakole Industrial Park property is a great location, with great access and utility service available for immediate development”, said Cundiff.
Jay Elicker, Senior Vice President with Sofos Realty, was the agent for Rengo Packaging, Inc. and stated, “We were very pleased to assist Rengo Packaging in this transaction. Their plans to build a manufacturing facility in Hawaii is a significant industrial event that will create local jobs and support economic stability in the industry for a very long time.”
Earlier this year, Rengo Packaging, Inc. announced plans to construct a new corrugated manufacturing facility in Hawaii, and the acquisition of land in Kapolei signifies a milestone step in the process for the construction of the facility. “We are very excited for our employees, customers and the community.
