Sofos Realty Corporation
announces new appointees
in its management and financial divisions
Honolulu, Hawaii (July 28, 2006) – Sofos Realty Corporation has recently received the management and leasing contract for Koko Marina Center in East Oahu resulting in the commercial real estate firm to hire and appoint personnel to new positions.
Overseeing the day to day and overall operations at the Center will be the newly appointed on-site property manager, Suzie Setzler. With over 6 years of experience in the real estate industry, Setzler is responsible for supervising improvements, contracting for common area services, budget preparation, tenant coordination and relations, as well as other aspects of physical management of the property. Before joining Sofos Realty Corporation, Setzler was a residential property manager at The Rental Center.
The Sofos property management department is headed by Carrie Naihe, recently promoted to Vice President of Sofos Realty Corporation’s commercial property management division. Naihe, who has been with Sofos for over 12 years, manages a portfolio of office and industrial properties comprising over 250,000 square feet and 130 tenants. Naihe’s duties include supervision of and career development for the property management staff, creating and enforcing company policies and procedures as well as budget preparation, tenant retention, lease negotiations, property inspections and reporting to owners for her selected properties.
On the financial front, Marisa del Rosario was hired as the new Controller and oversees accounting operations for all managed properties. With 12 years of experience in the property management industry, del Rosario’s main goal is to ensure that the accounting department runs efficiently and is currently working to implement new procedures towards that end. She was most recently the Accounting Manager for Mililani Town Association where she managed the accounting department.
